My name is Patricia Calleja and I have been attending Live Seed Christian Centre for a little over a year now. I am a timid and reserved person and a woman of few words. I am separated and have a 14-year-old boy. I would like to share with you my testimony and some things that I went through in these last three years. I thought I was a wise person but in reality ended up making some bad choices based on my own understanding and ended up suffering unpleasant consequences. At that time I did not know the Lord personally and as a result had no real relationship with Him.

How i came to meet Jesus:
Back when i was aged 14, i used to attend a Christian Church in Paola. Although I was still very young, my parents always left me and my sister to decide for ourselves whether we wanted to attend church or not.

I dread to think where I would be today if God had not saved me. My drug and alcohol abuse started when I was 14. First, I was experimenting with tobacco and Marijuana, and quickly began using harder drugs. It wasn’t long before Satan was in full control, and I was heavily involved in taking and making drugs. This led to extreme violence and robbery. I had been in and out of jail since I was 18.

My name is Vijay Kumar and hails from Punjab. I was born and brought up in a Hindu family. I also followed this religion very keenly with my parents. They have followed this religion in order to obtain peace. But all our rituals were ineffective and we remained peace less. But one good thing in our family was that my mother had a Christian background. But right after her marriage she adopted Hinduism. Though, she is a Hindu now, still she sings songs and prays at the auspicious occasions like Christmas and Good Friday. Thus, Lord paved the way for my salvation. She thought me Lord’s Prayer and some Christian songs too. All these things made me keen to know more about Jesus.
